ANDREA MOSCIANESE – A professional musician, he began his career in the 1990s in Rome. A multi-instrumentalist (guitar, bass, drums, piano), he has collaborated with the most renowned artists on the Italian scene. He is a composer, producer, arranger, and session player. In the 2000s, he started working with music for images, creating soundtracks for various films; he received a nomination for the Nastri d’Argento (for “Shadow” by Federico Zampaglione) and participated in the Directors’ Fortnight at the Cannes Film Festival (for “Fiore” by Claudio Giovannesi). He is the regular composer for director Claudio Giovannesi, having composed the music for almost all his films, including “Piranhas” (winner of the Silver Bear for Best Screenplay at the Berlin Film Festival). He has also written music for several documentaries and theater productions.
